About The Role

Community Connector
Location: Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea
Salary: £23,590 to £25,155 per annum, (plus ILW, if residing & working in London)
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Permanent

Are you passionate about supporting people who feel isolated or lonely? Do you believe everyone deserves to feel part of their community? As a Community Connector, you’ll work directly with individuals to help them build confidence, access local services, and re-engage with the world around them. You’ll be part of a compassionate team that works closely with volunteers and partner organisations to create lasting social connections. Could you be the person who helps someone take that first step?
 
What will a day in the life of a Community Connector involve?
  • Meeting with individuals to understand their needs and offer tailored support.
  • Linking people with local services, activities, and community groups.
  • Working alongside volunteers to provide encouragement and practical help.
  • Building relationships with partner agencies to develop sustainable community networks.
To be a successful Community Connector, what will you need?
  • Strong understanding of NHS and Social Care services, with proven experience delivering high-quality public services and supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach.
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the local area and how communities operate.
  • A genuine passion for helping people overcome loneliness and build connections.
