Understand the different roles offered within fundraising and decide where your skills and experience would be best placed.
Reach out to someone who works in fundraising (either internally or by using LinkedIn) and build your fundraising network.
If you don’t ask you don’t get – the required mindset in fundraising! Show interest in roles and ask for shadowing and work experience opportunities.
Gain volunteering experience to help show your interest in the field, you’ll learn a thing or two and have fun along the way as well.
