You'll play a crucial role in aligning resources, managing workloads, and providing confidential PA and project support to the Director. A day in the life of an Business Support Manager will involve:
  • Assessing and aligning administrative support needs with available resources, identifying gaps and planning for future requirements.
  • Leading the team in prioritising and managing tasks, ensuring service levels are met, providing supervision and mentoring.
  • Overseeing the Director's schedule, managing communications, arranging travel, and ensuring efficient meeting organisation.
  • Networking with other BSMs, contributing to improvement initiatives, and reporting on service levels and key performance indicators.
To be a successful Business Support Manager, you’ll need:
  • Experience managing teams and processes to achieve service levels.
  • Strong planning, workload management, and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to quickly identify solutions and manage multiple workstreams, with experience supporting senior managers.
