Service Administration Assistant
Location: Working between 2 sites – British Red Cross and Reading Borough Council offices
Hours: 28 per week ; between Mon-Fri 9-5, could be 4 full days or split over 5 days
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £21,840 per annum based on 35 hours per week (£17,472 for 28 hours per week)

As well as assisting the Health and Care Services in Berkshire and part of the wider Business Support team across the South and Channel Islands, you'll provide efficient assistance to colleagues, members of the public and external organisations.
What will a day in the life of a Service Administration Assistant involve?
- General administrative duties including dealing with emails and answering telephone enquiries.
- Organising meetings and taking notes.
- Data entry and preparing reports with great accuracy.
What do you need to be a successful Service Administration Assistant?
- Excellent administration skills.
- To be outgoing with strong communication skills. Enthusiastic about customer service whilst having great attention to detail.
- IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft packages.
- An ability to deal with queries in a diplomatic, professional and confidential manner, both verbally and in writing.
This is a hybrid role working between our Red Cross office in Reading and at the Reading Borough Council offices. You must have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a greater team.
