Community Resilience Project Coordinator
Location: UK Flexible (Office, Home and Community based role)
Salary: £24,240- £25,750 Per Annum based on 35 hours per week (plus London Weighting, £3,344, if applicable)
Contract: Fixed Term Contract to End of January 2025

A day in the life of a Community Resilience Project Coordinator
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Community Resilience Project Coordinator to lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing community resilience. You will work closely with community members, local organizations, and stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that promote sustainable practices and preparedness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community resilience projects.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community members and organizations to encourage participation and collaboration.
- Resource Development: Identify and apply for funding opportunities to support project initiatives.
- Workshops & Training: Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events to educate the community on resilience strategies.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Monitor project outcomes and prepare reports to share progress with stakeholders and funders.
- Collaboration: Work with local governments, non-profits, and community groups to align efforts and maximize impact.
What do you need to be a successful Community Resilience Project Coordinator?
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., community development, social sciences, environmental studies).
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a community-focused setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with community resilience principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
