Job Title: Senior Data Visualisation Manager

Salary: £51,410 to £60,000 per annum based on 35 hours per week

What will a Senior Data Visualisation Manager's job involve?
- Act as a strategic partner for stakeholders across the organisation to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide tailored solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Lead Tableau Community Development: Establish and grow a Tableau community within the organisation by providing resources, best practices, and training opportunities, enabling users to create and interpret visualisations effectively.
- Create and Deliver Impactful Visualisations: Design and deliver dynamic dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and other platforms, ensuring data insights are actionable and accessible.
- Develop and manage scenario-based analyses, advising stakeholders on the financial and operational impacts of different scenarios to support planning and strategic decision-making.
- Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of a well-architected data visualisation strategy.
- Apply a financial lens to performance data, identifying cost drivers, revenue opportunities, and efficiency improvements that support strategic goals.
What will a Senior Data Visualisation Manager need to be successful?
- Advanced Proficiency in Data Visualisation and tools like Tableau and PowerBI
- Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management
- SQL Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL for complex data querying and transformation, and experience with Databricks (or equivalent)
- Proven Experience in BI Development and report building, dashboards and scorecards.
- Experience with Data Modelling and Analytics Engineering
- Experience in Analytics Engineering: Proficiency in data modelling and transformation, with ideally hands-on use of dbt for automated workflows, documentation, and version control
- Track Record of Managing Performance Management Frameworks to define and monitor OKRs and KPIs, using dashboards to track organisational performance and provide actionable insights
- Financial Analysis and Scenario Modelling Experience
