Service Coordinator
Job Location: Bedford
Hours: 35 per week
Contract Type: Fixed term to 31st July 2025
Salary: £22,781 per annum based on 35 hours per week
Full UK driving licence required and access to your own vehicle for business use (business mileage will be reimbursed)

What does a day in the life of a Service Coordinator involve?

  • Managing a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers ensuring the people who need us receive the best possible service.
  • Meeting with our service users and assessing their needs, guiding or signposting them to connect with groups or to manage a health condition. You'll help them to lead independent lives and improve their wellbeing.
  • Liaising with partnership agencies to promote the service and build meaningful links.
  • Producing and maintaining monthly reports.

What do you need to to be a successful Service Coordinator?

  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to get the best out of people.
  • A good knowledge of Health and Social Care services.
  • Ability to deliver clear written and verbal communications.
  • IT literacy with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
