Health Operations Manager
Location: East of Scotland - flexible working, with hub in Edinburgh or Midlothian
Salary: £42,000 per annum (£36,000 plus a £6,000 market allowance)
Hours: 35 per week
Permanent: Contract

What does a day in the life of Health Operations Manager look like?
- Lead local managers to deliver high-quality health and care services.
- Contribute to the national leadership team to drive growth and impact in Scotland.
- Oversee daily operations, managing staff and volunteers.
- Support independence, prevent hospital admissions, and reduce isolation.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and ensure targets and quality standards are met.
- Work with business development to secure new opportunities
To be a successful Health Operations Manager, you’ll need:
- Proven operational management of health or social care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Experience developing services with NHS or local government partners to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Skilled in public speaking, presentations, and influencing diverse audiences.
- Strong people management skills, with experience leading staff, volunteers, and projects.
- Competent in budgeting, financial management, and use of Microsoft Office tools.
- Awareness of the needs of vulnerable people, with the ability to enhance service delivery; able to travel extensively across Scotland.
