Location: UK Flexible (hybrid, with regular working in our London Head Office)

Salary: £37,483 - £39,014 per annum (plus ILW, £3,344, if residing & working in London)
Are you a dynamic marketing professional with a passion for making a difference? As our UK Operations Marketing Manager, you’ll positively promote the British Red Cross to external audiences and work with internal clients, helping in our endeavour to “build a movement”.
You’ll focus on UK resilience work, helping to strengthen our offer to communities through mitigating, preparing, responding and recovering from crisis, this includes a focus on Community Education. The team also focuses upon areas such as Health & Care, Volunteer Recruitment and Mobility Aid Services.

Wondering about what a day in the life of a Marketing Manager looks like? Here’s what you’ll be delivering:
Our Marketing Manager will provide strategic support and day-to-day management of marketing campaigns and activity to support specific engagement needs of the organisation and across multiple internal stakeholders.
You’ll work with a cross-organisational, collaborative mindset. Working across teams you’ll align efforts, deliver projects and content, and drive impactful campaigns to maximise effectiveness.
Multi-channel campaign management and coordination will be key to what you do. You’ll make sure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and with impact. You’ll also be responsible for the creative development and evaluation of the campaigns.
You’ll work closely with teams across marketing, communications, operations, and fundraising. Together, you’ll deliver integrated solutions that meet UK operational needs and targets and support the wider organisational marketing strategy. Your work will be guided by insight and always mindful of multiple audience drivers.
This role might be for you if…
- You are a confident communicator, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation.
- You can develop market research, competitor analysis, new product development insight briefs and to work with multi-disciplinary communications teams to produce integrated communications plans.
- You have sound marketing planning skills along with the ability to write strategic marketing plans and to effectively brief in creative work.
- You’re a multi-tasker, not phased by working in multiple complex projects.
- You are excellent at stakeholder engagement, building relationships and working with people towards positive outcomes.
- You are confident working with business-to-business and business-to-customer audiences.
- You have budget management experience.
Please Note: The location is flexible. However, to ensure we foster a strong and collaborative team culture there will be an expectation to be in the London office for a certain number of days per month. The expectation of days will be based on ongoing projects and on your home location/commute.
