Are you passionate about using technology to drive meaningful change in humanitarian work?

Can you translate complex business needs into clear, actionable solutions that make a real difference?

Ready to join a team where innovation, compassion, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do?

We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our team in a hybrid role that blends traditional business analysis with technical engagement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to shape solutions that meet organisational goals, while also collaborating with technical teams to understand system architecture, data flows, and contribute to solution design. Your ability to ask the right technical questions and interpret responses meaningfully will be key to your success.

What will a day in the life of a Technical Business Analyst involve? You'll be:
  • Translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications or user stories.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to explore needs, define priorities, and manage expectations.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to assess feasibility, understand architecture, and contribute to solution design.
  • Participating in technical discovery and analysis to inform decision-making and shape delivery.
  • Supporting solution implementation through testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analysing and modelling business processes to identify improvements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Promoting innovation and sharing knowledge across teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring solutions meet compliance, quality, and inclusivity standards.
What will you need to be a successful Technical Business Analyst?
  • Proven experience in business analysis, including identifying user needs and defining technology solutions.
  • Strong ability to produce prioritised functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Skilled in mapping current and future business processes with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and managing expectations.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and translating business needs into technical language.
  • Capable of developing test scenarios and assessing solution quality.
  • Committed to inclusive practice and promoting diversity in line with our EDI policy.

Interested? The closing date for applications is 23.59 on Wednesday 26th November 2025. Interviews are expected to take place shortly after this time.

In return for your commitment and expertise, you’ll get:
  • Flexible working: Remote and hybrid working, flexitime, compressed hours, and job sharing.
  • Holidays: 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + option to buy 5 extra days.
  • Pension scheme: Up to 6% contributory pension.
  • Learning & Development: A range of career & learning opportunities.
  • Discounts: Blue Light Discount Card, Tickets For Good & employee benefits platform.
  • Wellbeing Support: Peer Supporters, CiC (EAP) & Headspace App.
  • Cycle2Work: Lease a bicycle through the scheme.
We are proud to be part of the Disability Confident scheme for UK-based roles. During your application, you'll have the option to apply under the scheme.
