About The Role

Finance Business Partner
Location: Moorgate, London 
35 Hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: Circa £48,000 per annum (including London Weighting) 

Could you provide direct business partnering relationships with Director level stakeholders covering significant income and spend? 

We are looking for an insightful and collaborative Finance Business Partner, to support the Head of Fundraising Finance (HoFF) in providing strategic input and financial performance analysis to the Chief Supporter Officer and their management team to support delivery of the long-term Fundraising strategy.

In this largely autonomous role, you will work flexibly to support the HoFF in improving the overall team’s support provision with regards financial performance, reporting and budgeting and forecasting. 

As an experienced qualified Accountant, you will business partner directors responsible for significant income and expenditure and will provide these directors and their teams with analytical, financial, reporting and forecasting support. 

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure at a senior level within our large, diverse organisation and utilise your blend of skills to support the financial planning and performance of the world’s largest humanitarian movement. 

This role might be for you if…

You’re technically capable – an experienced Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a sound knowledge of UK GAAP; you’ll have strong financial modelling, analysis and accounting skills.

You are a strong communicator and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. You are able to communicate effectively with staff and volunteer colleagues with widely varying backgrounds and levels of financial literacy. You will be able to influence the decisions of senior level stakeholders and budget holders with appropriate support and challenge to deliver improved financial outcomes.

You’re commercially astute with proven experience of working to drive additional value in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. You can manage conflicting demands against resource constraints in an effective manner.
