About The Role

Location: UK Flexible 
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract until March 2022 


We are looking for a Programme Manager to coordinate the activities of the Business Intelligence (BI) team to ensure appropriate focus on evolving and new products that will enable the British Red Cross to take data driven decisions and show our impact to donors, commissioners and the general public.


What you will be doing
The BI Programme Manager is a dynamic role working with stakeholders and the BI development team to reach consensus on what can be achieved in rapid development and ensure that product backlog items (including product development plans and team activities) are clearly defined and managed efficiently.

The overarching aim is to ensure the BI resource is used efficiently and the outputs are delivered quickly, to a high standard and have the maximum impact on the work of the British Red Cross.


What we are looking for
We are seeking a talented and driven individual with a strong understanding of the Scrum project management framework and Agile principles as well as knowledge of BI methodologies such as Kimbell.

You must have a clear and logical understanding of data analysis and data model construction with the ability to compile, manipulate and present data accurately and clearly.

You will have experience in Agile project delivery including managing team adherence to the process and coordinating the prioritisation process and related ceremonies (e.g. Stand Ups, Planning, Retros, Sprint Reviews etc). 

With proven experience within a business intelligence role and one that has improved data driven decision making in a complex organisation, you will also be able to demonstrate prior experience designing, modelling and deploying dashboards in appropriate software (e.g. PowerBI). 


Meet the team
The role of Business Intelligence Programme Manager sits within the Insight and Improvement department; a single ‘go’ to’ place for evidence and insight and support to develop and evaluate services in UK Operations. 

Insight and Improvement are responsible for supporting the collection of high-quality data about the UK services we deliver and their impact for service users, using this data to provide insight and evidence to drive service improvement.
