About The Role

Location: UK Flexible
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract until December 2021



We are looking for a talented creative multimedia producer with a proven ability to produce and edit highly engaging multimedia content. The role will work with our Community Education to develop educational resources which build confidence and lifesaving skills with young and adult audiences.
 

What you will be doing 
At the British Red Cross, we want to create memorable and meaningful interactions with audiences through high quality, authentic, and creative content, which demonstrates the role we play in connecting human kindness with human crisis.

As our multimedia producer, you'll help bring our education service to life, in keeping with our tone of voice and brand style. You’ll pitch multimedia concepts, write scripts, edit video and work with freelancers as required to drive creative solutions which increase our audience reach.
 
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible so would suit those immediately available or with a short notice period. 


What we are looking for
To succeed in the role you'll be driven, enthusiastic and full of ideas for engaging multimedia creative, thrive in a busy team and have a keen eye for the detail. Bringing your previous experience and excellent producing and editing skills from the industry, either in-house or an agency, ideally gained through working within education or charity communications.


Meet the team 
Reporting to the multimedia manager, you'll join our content team and be part of our award-winning communications and advocacy directorate. Your teammates will be our talented and friendly in-house team of copywriters, graphic designers, multimedia producers, story gatherers and production specialists. 

Your key partners will be the content developers within the Community Education team. Together you will develop our education resources, identifying innovative ways to communicate learning opportunities across multi-channel communications.
