We've got an opportunity...


We have an exciting new opening in our Ambulance support (AS) and Crisis response (CR) service. We are looking for a driven and customer focused Fleet Coordinator to join our team. In this important role you will assist with the deployment of our AS & CR fleet and equipment while ensuring that statutory and regulatory compliance is achieved, contractual obligations are fulfilled and that service delivery, quality, and financial targets are met. 

You will also provide general administration support which will include building reports and maintaining databases and be the initial point of contact for internal & external enquiries and volunteer management.  This role will also entail management of our fantastic Fleet & Logistics team of volunteers. This will include recruitment, inductions, training and development. 

Please note: this role requires to you be of legal driving age and have had a Full UK driving licence for 2 + years. 

When crisis strikes, we're first on the scene

Our Ambulance Support team works in conjunction with our Crisis Response team to respond to the needs of people in crisis following an emergency. Our ambulance support work is contract driven and based around agreements to provide a range of services from patient transport to emergency ambulance support. Our services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and we apply the same standards to our service delivery across the whole of the UK. Our fleet and equipment are comparable with those deployed by NHS services. We are a close-knit team united by one goal - to save lives. 

About you...

To be successful in this position you must have the following skills and experience:

- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent by experience)
- General IT skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team, including with members geographically spread across the organisation
- Well-developed communication skills
- Ability to manage own workload and work to challenging deadlines 
- Full clean UK Driving Licence
