About The Role

Senior Business Development Manager – London

Job Location: Flexible within London or commutable (regular travel required around London and occasionally to other parts of UK)

Hours: 35 per week

Salary: £46,236 per annum based on 35 hours per week (+ inner London weighting of £3,344 per annum if applicable)

Contract Type: Permanent

Could you play a vital role in expanding our commissioned Health and Care services across London?

Join our London Leadership Team to help reduce health inequalities for people in London by growing and developing our health and social care operations. You'll collaborate with hospitals, community providers, primary care, and social care to offer transformative support services, ultimately saving public money and generating social value. As our Senior Business Development Manager, you'll significantly increase our impact and the income generated through expanding commissioned services across London, building on our 75-year track record of working alongside the NHS.

This role is not fundraising-focused but involves driving ambitious growth plans and supporting the development of new services. With your extensive business development experience and understanding of the sector be part of our team dedicated to making a difference in people's lives.

Wondering about a day in the life of a Strategic Business Development Manager?

• You'll work collaboratively with commissioners and providers, hospitals, community health, primary care and social care to ensure our contracts provide transformative support.

• You'll ensure our services are performing, often meaning people are discharged home safely and supported to build confidence and resilience at home to avoid readmission.

• You'll use insight (quantitative and qualitative data) to identify opportunities for growth or testing new innovative approaches to addressing health inequalities.

What will you need to be a successful Strategic Business Development Manager?

• We're looking for a high-achieving and experienced Strategic Business Development Manager, who will be at the forefront of expanding our health and social care services in London.

• You'll have experience owning business development processes, from identifying need and generating leads, through to developing solutions and winning new contracts.

• You have a track record of achieving ambitious growth plans and supporting the development of new and exciting services.

• You can identify person-centred solutions to complex problems in a collaborative way.

• You are financially literate and have the ability to understand income and expenditure statements as well as budget forecasting.
