As a Community Education Coordinator, you will be managing the allocation of resources and volunteers. Your goal is to increase the British Red Cross geographical footprint and capacity within communities. You will be making a real impact, through guided learning in your community, are you ready for the challenge?
Our education offer has been built to help those with an increased risk of experiencing a crisis. You will deliver vital skills that will help develop individual and community resilience. Working alongside the Area Community Education Manager, you will build community partnerships and develop the completion of internal and external funded projects.

Wondering about a day in the life of an Education Coordinator?
- You will manage and support the implementation of partnerships and externally funded projects.
- You will have responsibility for all aspects of the Community Education blended learning offer for your area.
- You'll ensure the education delivery is consistent and at the appropriate quality standard.
What does it take to be a successful Education Coordinator?
- A recognised education, training or facilitation qualification (or equivalent by experience) and excellent coaching and motivational skills.
- Experience in recruiting, selecting, managing, and supporting volunteers.
- Full clean driving licence is essential for travel in the surrounding area.
- Experience of facilitated learning and adapting nationally approved learning content to meet user needs.
