Stewardship Events Manager
Location: London area (hybrid between home and our offices in Moorgate)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday but we're open to flexible working
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £36,637 to £38,766 (plus £3,344 Inner London Weighting if applicable) per annum
Could you play a critical role in developing and delivering innovative and exceptional stewardship events? We’re looking for a creative Stewardship Events Manager to lead on the development, planning and implementation of stewardship events for our donors and prospects.
A day in the life of our Stewardship Events Manager
In this busy role you’ll collaborate closely with the Stewardship Events Lead and Stewardship Events Officer. Working to deliver an annual calendar of in-person and virtual events for high value supporters. This calendar will include events that attract potential new supporters as well as events that thank, recognise and steward existing supporters. The key audiences for these events will be the corporate sector, public sector, institutions, major donors, trust & foundations.
You’ll be responsible for the development and delivery of key strategic events within the stewardship events calendar. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders across the organisation. This includes colleagues across Philanthropy and Partnerships as well as senior stakeholders such as British Red Cross Trustees and our Executive Leadership Team. You’ll be expected to deliver an outstanding supporter experience, develop innovative creative event concepts, and track the success of events through KPI reporting and monitoring the return on investment.
The Stewardship Events Manager will also be expected to take on additional responsibilities and projects as part of the Stewardship and Operations (S&O) team to advance the development of the teams’ policies, practices and success.
This role might be for you if…
- You have extensive experience in event management, particularly in stewardship events and delivering events for high-net-worth audiences.
- You have strong strategic development, planning, budgeting and evaluation skills to drive continued growth and ensure targets are met.
- You have experience of developing effective relationships across an organisation to achieve mutual objectives.
- You are an experienced leader. You can motivate and lead by example.
- You have robust written communication skills and attention to detail. You can prepare concise event briefs to tight deadlines.
- You have experience of developing and delivering successful virtual and online events.
