A day in the life of a Shop Manager at the British Red Cross, Guernsey is anything but ordinary.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and motivating a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
- Creating a friendly, inclusive, and inspiring environment for customers.
- Managing shop operations—from visual merchandising to stock management.
- Driving performance to meet financial targets and maximise fundraising.
- Being a proud representative of the British Red Cross, connecting customers to our humanitarian mission.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Retail experience at supervisory level, with strong customer service and cash handling skills.
- Leadership skills to inspire and develop your team.
- A commercial mindset and the initiative to meet and exceed targets.
- IT proficiency, including confidence using a PC and retail systems.
- A genuine connection to the British Red Cross mission and the ability to promote our shop as the charity retailer of choice in Guernsey.
