First Aid Trainer
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside, delivering courses within a 50 mile radius
Hours: 35 per week excluding travel (5 days between Monday to Saturday 9-5, with occasional evenings)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £24,300 to £26,211 (depending on qualifications) per annum
Driving: Full UK driving licence required and access to a vehicle (Business mileage reimbursed)

What will a day in the life of a First Aid Trainer involve? You'll be:
- Conducting first aid training and specialist courses, equipping people with essential life-saving skills.
- Teaching the right action to take in different situations, for example when people may be unresponsive or have suffered burns.
- Supporting people with their confidence to provide potentially lifesaving support in an emergency.
- Travelling to training venues throughout Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and surrounding areas.
Please note: It will be required for you to live within a 50-mile radius of the training venues, which are mainly located in Merseyside and the surrounding areas. This is due to the role being very location-specific.
What will you need to be a successful First Aid Trainer?
- Are you a natural communicator with a confident, engaging personality who thrives when speaking in front of groups?
- Do you enjoy actively listening, solving problems, debating ideas, and providing constructive feedback?
- Do you hold a Training or Teaching qualification, or are you willing to work towards one?
- Are you comfortable working independently and traveling to various training locations (using you own vehicle)?
- Are you IT literate?
- Do you have experience of preparing and delivering a range of training courses, and are assertive in presenting to mixed ability groups?
