Salary: £61,633 (plus London Weighting, £3,344, if appropriate) per annum

A Day in the life of our Finance Business Partner
This role, part of the Financial Planning and Performance team, provides finance business partnering for BRC’s Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and Asia regions.
Working closely with the International Accounting team, you’ll deliver high-quality financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for both internal management and donor proposals.
As the finance lead for these regions, you’ll ensure compliance with financial standards. You’ll work closely and be supported by in-country finance managers handling day-to-day operations.
Some of the specific areas you’ll be involved in will include:
- Business partnering - Deliver insight and challenge into the effectiveness of spend decisions. Utilise commercial acumen in addition to technical and financial analytical ability, to support partnered teams’ decision making on current and future plans.
- Budgeting and forecasting - Develop team forecasting capability and embrace new technologies that improve the efficiency and insight of budget holders’ forecasting.
- Financial reporting - Improve the quality and efficiency of reporting through utilisation of dashboarding and review conversations with various stakeholders.
- Financial risk management – keep management up to date on risk assessments and make clear recommendations. Identifying and mitigating risks.

This role might be for you if...
- You're preferably a CCAB qualified accountant, with sound knowledge of accounting standards and practices.
- Experience of building (and maintaining) strong and effective relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- You have a keen eye for detail, with problem-solving, decision making and effective communication skills.
- You're highly computer literate with substantial experience in Excel, Word and computerised financial systems. Experience of Agresso, SAP or similar accounting software an advantage.
- You’re able to plan and manage substantial projects and activities.
- You have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team within a complex organisation.
- You have a genuine affinity with the organisations purpose and drive to make a positive personal impact.
