About The Role

Business Development Support Officer
Location: Wales (hybrid between home and one of our offices in Wales)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £24,968 per annum based on 35 hours per week

For over 75 years, the British Red Cross has supported the NHS and provided a lifeline for vulnerable individuals. We’re now expanding our health and social care services in Wales, increasing the number of people we support, and income generated.
 
What will a day in the life of the Business Development Support Officer involve?
  • Supporting the Business Development Manager with business expansion plans and actions. This might include research, analysis, and making appointments. 
  • Managing administrative functions of contract processes. Ensuring internal tools, such as our contract management system is up to date.
  • Ensuring all documentation, including presentations, are kept up to date and available when required, including IT systems. 
  • You will be expected to act as the day-to-day point of contact in their absence and offer resilience to the wider team.
This role can be worked between home and from one of our offices across Wales. Occasional travel will be required around the region.
 
What do you need to be a successful Business Development Support Officer?
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability for prioritising your workload against competing deadlines.
  • Ability to deliver clear communications both written and verbally.
  • Administrative experience within process driven team.
  • Experience delivering high quality service ensuring close attention to detail.
  • Sound working knowledge of databases and Microsoft 365.
